Wonderful stay at Darrelle and Troy's! Super communicative and flexible, which was really handy as we were balancing some tricky flight rebookings. Room was private, comfortable, and spacious. Plenty of options for a delicious breakfast and felt right at home chatting with the everyone in the home. Loved getting recommendations during breakfast. Right on the water and we loved hiking the trails nearby as well as visiting the theater right in town. Thanks again and highly recommend!

Darnelle and Troy home was the perfect place to stay. It was so homey with the east coast flare. So clean. The breakfast was delicious and the local jam made it perfect. We felt so at home there. I had a medical emergency and had to cancel unexpectedly the first time I booked and they were so accommodating I couldn’t even believe it. It made part of my terrible experience a bit easier to get through. I would not stay anywhere but here if travelling north in NL!! Thank you for such a pleasant and welcoming experience.

Amazing place highly recommend. Beautiful spot next to the water with activities near by. Hosts were super friendly and helpful and breakfast was amazing. Overall definitely worth it if your stopping by

Our room was lovely, not much of a view but light and airy with all the good bathroom and a nice comfortable big bed. Breakfast menu was a good choice, it was made to order in the kitchen in front of the dining tables and was ample and tasty, It’s easy to see why it is a shoes off house. As soon as you come through the front door (directly opposite and a stones throw from the shore line) we were greeted with a beautifully decorated home with carpets that looked and felt brand new, The 2 living rooms were comfortable and spacious. It is the first place I have stayed in where the common rooms were fully used by all guests, often at the same time. It truly felt like a home away from home. We stayed for 2 nights and it’s one the few places I wished we were able to stay for longer. The owners were present at times during the day to check in on guests and make sure everything was in place. If we were travelling in this part of the world again, it would be the place I would choose every time. Congratulations to both of them for creating a multi occupancy accommodation that has such a unique and warm feeling for every guest. The only suggestion I would have is that there were one or two small armchairs in the Lighthouse room for resting and watching tv later in the evening. It was something we talked about with the owners and it would make the room perfect.

This is an outstanding location at the top end of Gros Morne. Easy access to West Brook Pond where we did a Bon Tour of the pond. The wool shop Sivvers is a must see. The owner is an absolute treasure. Don’t bypass the local Payne museum. Worth a pop in.

We had a fantastic stay! The room was decent, clean, specious, and comfy! Definitely love the breakfast! Darrell’s and Troy were nice, friendly, and thoughtful! Internet was good! We loved the place! Highly recommended!

We had a lovely stay at Seabreeze Inn. The room and home were spacious and very clean. We had several choices for breakfast and it was prepared hot and fresh and it was delicious! The host went above and beyond for my special request. I highly recommend staying here.

The accommodations and breakfast were among the best we had in Newfoundland. The bed was certainly the most comfortable. Check in was keyless and very easy. The one thing that could be improved upon was we were sent an email the day of arrival with things to see in the area, restaurants, shops, etc, it would be more useful to have this at least 1 day earlier when we weren’t travelling. Another place had sent us those details when we booked.

It was really nice meeting and chatting with Darrelle and Troy in the mornings. The breakfast was perfectly cooked by Nicole and Danielle each morning…a great start to our day. The sunsets were great, too (when the weather cooperated.)! The room and bed were so comfortable. This is an excellent location just north of Gros Morne, and suited our needs for exploring the area. We would definitely recommend!
